The commercial follows a testimony of a supposed Niterium user by the name of Lewis Cartel. He shares his testimony with the viewers on how he was diagnosed with high-cholesterol, and because of his diagnosis, was rendered unable to partake in his family's planned activities, to the point of nearly feeling confined to his own home. As a result of his inactive life-style, he started taken Niterium, so that he could go out and do the most of the things he wanted to do in his life. After the side-effects, Cartel tells the audience to stop kidding themselves and start taking Niterium.
The long list of side effects is as follows.
- Severe headache
- ("In rare cases") internal bleeding ("which may cause death").
- Changes in behavior
- Thoughts of suicide
- Large tumors on the legs and internal organs
- Internal organ combustion
- Tears in the stomach and/or intestines
- sore joints
- inability to walk
- permanent spial cord injury that may leave the perscription user permanently imobilized
